For this project, I set out to reimagine a beloved piece of art as a unique animation. I chose Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki News, a piece that has long fascinated me with its vibrant Super Flat style.

My first memorable encounter with this style was at a bustling metro station in London. The vivid colors, bold shapes, and playful lines left a lasting impression on me, inspiring me ever since.

As my first major animation project, I wanted to bring a personal touch to this iconic piece. I incorporated my beloved cats, Macchiato and Cappuccino, into the animation, adding a whimsical and personal twist. I also reimagined the flowers with feline features, blending my admiration for the original artwork with my own creative flair.
